Love diving on this boat. Captain Annie is awesome. Very thorough, safety focused, super easy to schedule with. Crew is great and very helpful beyond just getting on an off the boat. Highly recommend for diving with family and friends.

Ani and crew are my go-to in Miami. She runs a tight ship. Organized and on time. Firm but friendly and knows how to corral the unruly types who can end up in Miami on vacation and disrupt others. Never had a problem once. On a trip she takes charge and makes sure everyone is looked after, even to snacks, hot deck showers (a first in my 40 years of diving), and provided drinks — cold to hot chocolate. Always brings her A Game no matter the time or weather. A pro. The kind of team you want to have around with something that entails risk.

You’d probably be better off on a different boat. The staff is relatively ill-informed about SCUBA regulations and standards for a SCUBA outfit. 🫤. They are the type of people that usually encounter less-experienced divers and enjoy trying to sound important - when they’re wrong and contradict themselves.None of these are a big deal by themselves, but it adds up:They announce loudly “No Smoking” on the boat, but the “captain” then later proceeds to walk around smoking cigars. They have spearfishing equipment (pole spears) sitting out nice and neat, but when asked about spearfishing trips - say without explanation that they don’t allow spearing fish.My son is an SSI Master Diver - certified (literally written on his card) up to 70’ deep in training, and has logged multiple dives up to 102 feet deep. The “captain” again, tells me that I’m wrong. His card is wrong. He cannot dive deeper than 40 feet. 😂😂. We dive twice a week. Every week. All over the place, for over the past year with different outfits. She drives *boats*. I think we, our training center, and our training agency know our limitations. This captain then proceeds to tell us - unprovoked - that it’s a good thing we didn’t go out with her yesterday (on a wreck sitting in 90 feet of water to the bottom) because: “I’d bend him.”What?? You don’t “bend” people. Captains don’t “bend” people! Wrecks don’t “bend” people! 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ People get the bends - by themselves - by not knowing their limitations and diving beyond their training and experience. If you’re a serious diver and want a knowledgeable, professional crew, this is not your place.

Had a great dive today with Capt Annie and first mate David. We dove on the Neptune and Staghorn reefs. Great dives for beginners, and easy to get to. Parking can be a little pricey, I paid $25 for the public lot adjacent to the building

Fulfilled a Childhood Dream!

From the first day I walked in the front door, with my heart pounding from the excitement of realizing I was going to fulfill a childhood dream and learn how to scuba dive, to even now, seven years later as a sort of “shop rat”, I’ve never felt more at home. This family run business understands the art of servicing a customer.

All the Best Dive Spots in Miami!

I love diving with Deco Divers. Deco has a safe, intelligent, fun crew, goes to all the best dives sites, including reefs, shallow/intermediate/deep wrecks, and responds to divers’ needs, making them the best game in town. It’s easy parking and access to the boat, and it’s less than ten minutes to get outside the cut!

Friendly Staff and Free Parking..

If you want to learn how to scuba dive or are already certified and will be visiting South Beach, this is the operation to patronize. The owners and staff always professional, knowledgeable and friendly. As far as I know, this is the only dive shop in Miami where you can walk out the front door of the shop and right onto the boat. Did I mention there is free parking? Where on South Beach do you EVER see that!?
